The leadership of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation visits the families of its martyrs in Hodeidah

The leadership of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation visited the families of the corporation’s martyrs in Hodeidah Governorate on Wednesday, Jumada al-Ula 21, 1447 AH (November 12, 2025), as part of the annual Martyr’s Day commemorations for the year 1447 AH.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Zaid Ahmed Taha Al-Washli, along with the Directors of Maritime Operations, Captain Mohammed Al-Sayes, Planning and Statistics, Dr. Wadhah Mujmal, the Chairman’s Office, Ali Al-Ansi, and the Deputy Director General of Maritime Operations, Captain Iyad Al-Samawi, presented financial contributions and gifts to 15 families of martyrs in appreciation of their sacrifices and what they offered for the honor and dignity of Yemen.
Al-Washli explained that visiting the families of martyrs reflects the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and embodies the religious, national, and moral duty towards the families and relatives of martyrs, stressing that caring for the families of martyrs will remain a constant priority in the foundation’s programs and plans.
He emphasized that the Red Sea Ports Corporation is committed to standing alongside the families of the martyrs, explaining that the visit is part of a comprehensive program to commemorate the martyrs’ anniversary. This program includes activities aimed at strengthening the culture of loyalty to the martyrs and instilling the values of resilience and sacrifice among the corporation’s employees and the wider community.
Al-Washli praised the role of the port martyrs, who represent a badge of honor and pride for the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and all its employees. He affirmed that the martyrs will remain in everyone’s hearts and that caring for their families will be an ongoing approach, not limited to any specific occasion.
For their part, the families of the martyrs expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the Red Sea Ports Corporation for this kind gesture, emphasizing that such initiatives reflect the deep connection and loyalty to the martyrs’ sacrifices and alleviate their suffering and difficult living conditions.
