A meeting chaired by Makbouli discusses the matrix of implementation of the Agricultural Development Plan in Saada
A meeting in Sana’a today, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Dr. Hussein Makbouli, discussed the executive matrix of the Agricultural Development Plan in Saada Governorate.
The meeting, which included the Minister of Transport, Zakaria Al-Shami, Agriculture and Irrigation, Engineer Abdulmalik Al-Thawr, stood before the diversity and agricultural production that characterizes Saada Governorate.
At the meeting, Dr. Makbouli stressed the need to provide Saada requirements for agricultural equipment and provide them with expertise and agricultural engineers, and everything that would encourage farmers to cultivate the various types and varieties of agricultural required by the Yemeni market in order to overcome the economic crisis caused by the aggression in order to kill the Yemeni people.
On the one hand, the Minister of Transport affirmed that the Ministry is ready to provide the necessary means to support agriculture in Saada Governorate, according to various available means of transportation.
He pointed out that the Ministry and the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, in cooperation with the relevant authorities in controlling the outlets, are working to prevent the entry of seeds and agricultural pesticides that are not harmful to agriculture.
To that, the Minister of Agriculture affirmed the readiness of his ministry to provide Saada governorate with expertise and agricultural engineers and conduct agricultural research to develop and enhance various types of agricultural crops in a way that contributes to reviving and moving the wheel of the national economy.
