Al-Haifi, Rajeh, and Al-Muayyad Review Progress of Maintenance Work on the Bajel-Al-Kadan Road in Hodeidah
Eng. Nabil Al-Haifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works for the Roads Sector, and Eng. Ali Rajeh, Undersecretary of the Public Works Sector, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, Chairman of the Land Transport Authority, reviewed today the progress of emergency maintenance work on the Bajel-Al-Kadan-Al-Dahhi Road in Hodeidah, funded and supervised by the Road Maintenance Fund and implemented by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges.
Al-Haifi, Rajeh, and Al-Muayyad inspected the work being carried out by emergency teams that have begun repairing damage caused by rain and floods.
They listened to an explanation from the technical and engineering teams about the extent of the damage and the ongoing measures to rehabilitate the vital road, which serves transportation between several districts. They emphasized the continuation of efforts to reopen roads to citizens as soon as possible. Al-Haifi and Al-Muayyad emphasized that these efforts are among the priorities of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works in maintaining the road and bridge network and ensuring its sustainability.
They explained that the coincidence of these works with the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday gives them a special significance, reflecting the values of giving and community service embodied by the Great Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.
They praised the efforts of the field teams, who continue to work day and night despite the difficult circumstances, stressing that the Ministry will continue to support these efforts to ensure the continuity of vital services to citizens.
