Al Hodeidah : Inauguration of the construction of the median strip, restoration, and lighting of the main street in Al Maraw’ah

Work on the project to construct the median strip, restore, and light the main street along a kilometer in length, was launched in the city of Al Maraw’ah, Al Hodeidah Governorate.
The project is being implemented by the Executive Unit with funding and supervision from the governorate’s Public Works Sector, as part of infrastructure improvement and city beautification projects.
At the inauguration, the director of the district, Abdullah Al Marouni, explained that the project is part of efforts to strengthen infrastructure and achieve sustainable development.
He pointed out that the project will contribute to improving the road network, regulating traffic, enhancing the aesthetic appearance, and enhancing traffic safety in the district.
Al Marouni considered these works a qualitative step towards improving the environment, praising the efforts of the Executive Unit and the Public Works Sector in implementing projects that contribute to improving and developing public services.
For his part, Abdullah Al-Sharafi, head of the directorate’s Public Works Sector, pointed out that the project is part of a plan to rehabilitate roads, improve the directorate’s entrances and general appearance, and provide streets with solar-powered lighting to enhance road safety and achieve sustainable development.
