Al-Sayani Chairs Meeting of the Tenders Committee at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works

The Tenders Committee, chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, discussed the progress of several projects across the ministry’s various sectors and departments.

The meeting, which was attended by Undersecretary of Public Works Ali Rajih, Undersecretary of Urban Planning and Survey Wadih Jahaf, and Assistant Undersecretary for Roads Ibrahim Al-Kabsi, also addressed a report on stalled projects.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Al-Sayani emphasized the ministry’s responsibility to monitor project implementation and ensure that contractors adhere to the general technical specifications.

Al-Sayani stressed the need to resolve all issues related to stalled projects to facilitate their completion and the fulfillment of required tasks and duties.

The meeting was also attended by Director General of Financial Affairs Mohammed Al-Jamali, Director General of the Technical Procurement Unit Sadiq Amin Yahya, Executive Secretary of the Procurement Unit Nawal Al-Samawi, and Secretary of the Tenders Committee Faisal Al-Yahiri.
