Al-Sayani inspects search and rescue operations following Zionist aggression on Tahrir neighborhood

Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani today inspected the progress of rescue and evacuation operations following yesterday’s Zionist aggression, which targeted civilian facilities and media headquarters in the Tahrir District of the capital, Sana’a.
Al-Sayani, accompanied by the Director of the Public Works Office in the capital, Abdul Salam Al-Jaradi, reviewed the emergency plan implemented by the office in cooperation with Civil Defense. This plan included evacuating the injured and rescuing those trapped in residential buildings, in addition to journalists and staff from the 26 September and Al-Yaman newspapers, whose headquarters were directly targeted, resulting in the deaths of a number of media professionals and civilians.
The Deputy Minister listened to a briefing from rescue teams on the extent of the damage and destruction caused by the Zionist aggression to residential neighborhoods and public and private property.
The Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works affirmed that targeting civilians and media personnel constitutes a complete war crime and a flagrant violation of all international conventions and laws.
He said, “This aggression comes within the context of the Zionist enemy’s desperate attempts to silence the voice of free Yemen, which has spoken the truth in support of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.”
He held the Zionist entity and its supporters, led by the US administration, fully responsible for this crime, noting that the Zionist attacks will only strengthen the Yemeni people and their armed forces’ determination to continue supporting the Palestinian people and the valiant resistance in Gaza.
