Al-Sayani Reviews Progress at the General Authority for Roads and Bridges

Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Sayani, reviewed the progress of work at the General Authority for Roads and Bridges today, including the level of completion in road and bridge construction and maintenance projects, as well as the various other projects being implemented by the Authority.
During his meeting with the Authority’s Chairman, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Hadrami, Al-Sayani also reviewed the Authority’s plan for 2026, which includes numerous projects and works to be carried out throughout the year without interruption, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, a month of both worship and work.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role the Authority plays in implementing and maintaining the road and bridge network, as well as other construction projects across various sectors.
He noted that the Authority has been proactive in mobilizing efforts and resources to complete critical projects during emergencies, including the rehabilitation of Sana’a Airport’s runway on multiple occasions after it was bombed by the enemy. Al-Sayani commended the efforts of the General Authority for Roads in carrying out numerous emergency interventions, most notably the repairs to the ports of Hodeidah after they were repeatedly bombed by the aggression’s warplanes.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Deputy Minister for the Roads Sector, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Kabsi.
