Al-Sayani: The Battle for Awareness Lies in Confronting Enemies’ Attempts to Strip the Nation of its Identity

Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Sayani, affirmed that the battle for awareness the nation faces today, waged by its enemies, lies in their continuous attempts to strip it of its faith-based identity in all aspects of life, particularly in management methods and concepts, specifically within the official institutions of the state.
During the launch today of the training program “Public Responsibility and Managing the Nation’s Affairs,” organized by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority in coordination with the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision-Making, Al-Sayani explained that targeting administrative concepts aims to empty public service of its ethical and faith-based values.
He pointed out that the current stage requires raising the level of administrative and functional performance and strengthening genuine awareness of the concept of public responsibility, based on an authentic faith-based and ethical framework.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of holding such training programs, which are crucial for building state institutions and contributing to providing transparent services to citizens.
He stated that the training program is based on the lessons, speeches, and wisdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), as presented by the leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, within his series of educational and intellectual lectures addressing the topic of public responsibility and the management of national affairs. These lectures highlighted the program’s profound importance in reforming administrative and professional practices and instilling ethical values in positions of responsibility.
He pointed out that this program represents a significant milestone in the process of developing responsible individuals within state institutions, contributing to the preservation and advancement of the state’s fundamental structure across all levels and sectors.
Al-Sayani explained that the leader’s lessons constitute a comprehensive school of thought in managing national affairs, offering a practical model for officials who are mindful of their responsibilities and perform their duties without personal gain.
He urged participants to engage seriously with the program and translate its outcomes into practical actions that positively impact the level of services provided to citizens. He stressed the importance of other agencies and institutions affiliated with the Ministry following the Land Transport Regulatory Authority’s example in training their employees with this program to develop and enhance their capabilities.
For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, indicated that the program comes within the framework of the Authority’s commitment to developing the capabilities of its staff and building administrative awareness based on Islamic values and principles.
He explained that drawing lessons from the sermons and wisdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) represents a fundamental pillar in correcting administrative concepts, strengthening professional discipline, and achieving fairness in the performance of responsibilities.
Al-Muayyad pointed out that the program was designed according to a unified training methodology that ensures a correct understanding of the lessons’ content and helps overcome differing interpretations, thus strengthening the unity of administrative vision within state institutions and serving the interests of society and the nation. The 14-day program, with 210 participants from the Authority’s staff, aims to instill a correct understanding of public responsibility and build administrative and ethical awareness among employees in state institutions. It is based on a Quranic and faith-based framework, inspired by the sermons and wisdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), as presented by the Leader, thereby strengthening the sense of integrity, commitment to duty, and service to society and the nation with a spirit of responsibility.
The program focuses on the concept of public responsibility and managing the affairs of the nation, the role of officials in state institutions and their impact on society, and the development of ethically and educationally responsible individuals before administrative development. It also aims to connect Islamic values and principles to administrative and professional realities, contributing to building the administrative and behavioral capacities of employees in the public sector, standardizing the methodology for understanding and practically applying lessons, and building overall capabilities.
The launch was attended by a number of officials from the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision-Making and directors general of the Authority.
