Al-Shaghdiri Inspects Surveying and Design Work for the Damt Ring Road Project

 

Acting Governor of Al-Dhale’a, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdiri, inspected today the field work of the technical team of engineers from the Roads Maintenance Fund. The team has begun preparing the technical studies and engineering specifications necessary to commence the Damt Ring Road paving project.

During the visit, Al-Shaghdiri received a briefing from the engineering team on the initial steps, which include surveying the routes and identifying the technical requirements to ensure the project is implemented according to the highest international standards.

Al-Shaghdiri emphasized the importance of the Damt Ring Road, a vital artery that will alleviate traffic congestion in the city center and facilitate the movement of heavy transport trucks and passengers, thus boosting commercial and tourism activity in the area.

He noted that this project is part of the local authority’s plan to improve infrastructure and develop basic services for citizens, praising the Roads Maintenance Fund’s role in supporting development efforts in the governorate. For their part, the engineering team members confirmed that work is progressing at a high pace to complete the surveying and technical survey, in preparation for bringing in the equipment and starting the field implementation phase in the near future.
