Amran: Discussing the Progress of the Technical Committee for Urban Planning and Public Works

 

A meeting in Amran Governorate , chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Ja’man, discussed the progress of the Technical Committee for Urban Planning, Construction, and Public Works.

The meeting, which included the Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Committee, Amin Faras; the Director of the Executive Unit, Salah Al-Qahoum; the Head of the Public Works Sector, Sultan Al-Qarahi; and the Directors of the Land Authority Branch, Akram Fayeh; and the Directors of the Ayal Sarih District, Muhammad Hiba, reviewed the problems of informal construction and the mechanism for completing the implementation of the road construction project in the urban expansion areas in the governorate center and the districts surrounding Amran City.

The meeting also addressed the current status of the roads that have been constructed and are currently being constructed, the difficulties hindering the progress of work, and the status of illegal residential buildings located on the streets within the urban plan for the new neighborhood units.

During the meeting, Governor Ja’man emphasized the importance of improving work performance in the Public Works and Planning sectors, emphasizing the need to remove any illegal construction violations.
He pointed out that the relevant offices bear responsibility for any violations that arise, noting coordination with the relevant authorities to address land-related issues, remove violations, and implement urban plans.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of the Planning Department at the Land Authority branch, Engineer Bashir Al-Alafi, and the Directors of the Amran branch, Engineer Ammar Al-Badawi and Ayal Sarih branch, Engineer Nabil Al-Adani.
