An event in Sana’a Governorate commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Zayd

 

A speech event was held in Sana’a Governorate today to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Insight and Jihad.”

During the event, which was organized by the offices of Finance, Civil Service, Public Works, the Executive Unit, Literacy, Environmental Protection, Neighborhood Affairs, Zakat, Transportation, and the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, the First Deputy Governor, Hamid Asim, reviewed aspects of the life of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him, and the importance of remembering his morals, virtues, and timeless stances.

He addressed his sacrifices, courage, great stances, and timeless sayings in confronting the forces of misguidance, emphasizing that commemorating this anniversary is a moment to remember the approach, morals, and revolution of the ally of the Qur’an, and to follow his example in confronting the forces of tyranny and arrogance in our present age.

During the event, attended by the governorate’s deputies, Abdul Malik Al-Gharbi, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, and Talib Dahan, the acting director of the governorate’s unified executive, Engineer Mohammed Makram, explained that commemorating this anniversary is a faith-based awareness event to draw lessons and morals from the life of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, and his blessed revolution in confronting tyrants and oppressors, championing truth and the oppressed, and combating the tyrants of our time and the advocates of falsehood.

He pointed to the injustice experienced by the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples today due to their refusal to submit and surrender to the forces of tyranny, their adherence to and loyalty to God, and their emulation of the path of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and the beacons of guidance after him.

The event, which was attended by the directors of the offices organizing the event, included a poem by the poet Mohammed Al-Harbi that reflected the occasion.
