An event organized by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority and Freight Transport Offices in Hodeidah to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday

The Land Transport Regulatory Authority and Freight Transport Offices in Hodeidah Governorate organized a speech event today to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan “At Your Service, O Messenger of God.”
During the event, the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bishri, reviewed the spiritual and religious meanings of commemorating the Prophet’s birthday, emphasizing that it is a moment to strengthen our sense of belonging to the Noble Messenger, renew our pledge to follow his path, and draw inspiration from his values and stances in confronting the forces of oppression and arrogance. He considered the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday in Yemen a powerful blow to the forces of infidelity from the colonial West and the deviant movements that attempt to distort Islam, most notably Wahhabism and those who follow its approach. He emphasized that the occasion reflects the authentic identity of the nation and its awareness of the danger of war against its values.
He pointed out that the events of the blessed Prophet’s birthday in Yemen annually bring tidings of conquest and victory, and provide the nation with a spiritual and moral momentum that strengthens its steadfastness in the battle for liberation. He noted that the people of Yemen, through this celebration, are writing scenes of loyalty and support that go beyond words.
The First Deputy Governor addressed the faith heritage of the people of Yemen, stating that they are the people of support who sheltered the Prophet and his companions, and that their celebration today of this great occasion reflects their adherence to the message of Muhammad and their constant readiness to carry the banner of religion and support the oppressed. He emphasized that Yemenis present a living and supreme example of their connection to the Holy Prophet and their consolidation of jihad as a duty to rescue the nation from the clutches of weakness and loss, at a time when some Arab regimes have slipped into the quagmire of normalization and submission to the Zionist-American project. He praised the efforts of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority and the freight transport offices in preparing and organizing this event, considering it a reflection of the cohesion between state institutions and society in highlighting the Prophet’s status in the conscience of Yemenis.
At the event, attended by the governor’s deputies, Ahmed Dahmos and Ali Al-Kabari, and the branch director, Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din, a speech was delivered by the organizing bodies, emphasizing that commemorating the Prophet’s birthday reflects the depth of loyalty to the Messenger of God, embodies the authentic meanings of faith identity, and represents a religious and moral duty for every Muslim.
Mohammed Balgheeth delivered the scholars’ speech, discussing the illuminating evidence from the fragrant biography of the Prophet and the importance of commemorating the Prophet’s birthday as the greatest event in human history, and the launching pad for the light that illuminated the world and led humanity from the slavery of humans to the worship of God.
He emphasized that the joy and jubilation on this occasion expresses the depth of connection to the Messenger of God and a renewal of the pledge to adhere to his approach and positions. He called for the occasion to be used to enhance the nation’s awareness and mobilize it.
He addressed the crimes of genocide, starvation, and a stifling siege to which the people of Palestine in general, and the people of Gaza in particular, are subjected, considering this tragic reality to be a direct result of the nation’s alienation from the Prophet’s approach and the teachings of the Qur’an. Balgheeth warned against inaction in the face of these challenges, emphasizing that jihad, resistance, and a return to the prophetic approach are the only ways to restore dignity and lift oppression from the oppressed.
He pointed out that the scene of the celebration in Yemen of the Prophet’s birthday, accompanied by popular crowds and manifestations of joy, sends a powerful message to the world that this people are steadfast in the path of their Prophet, adhering to their faith identity despite the blockade and aggression.
The event, attended by a group of Authority employees and workers in the transportation sector, included expressive segments praising the Great Prophet, affirming that the love of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, remains in the hearts of Yemenis, generation after generation.
