As part of the open day, the Ministry of Transport & Public Works receives complaints and grievances from a number of citizens

The Ministry of Transport and Public Works organized an open day to receive citizens’ complaints and grievances.
During the open day, Yahya Al-Siyani, Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works and Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, received a number of citizens and listened to their complaints and concerns, along with several leaders and specialists at the ministry.
Al-Siyani emphasized the ministry’s leadership’s commitment to receiving citizens’ complaints and grievances and working to resolve them promptly, according to a clear and transparent working mechanism that ensures the preservation of their rights and serves the public interest. He pointed out that the Ministry today launched a process for receiving citizens’ complaints and grievances in the Public Works Sector at the Ministry’s building in the Naqam area. The location for receiving complaints for other sectors will be determined in the coming weeks through the Ministry’s operations and through the toll-free number 8000045.
The Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works stated that the first phase of the complaints process will take place at the Ministry’s General Diwan, followed by the second phase, which will move to the Ministry’s offices in the governorates to alleviate citizens’ suffering.
He pointed out that the open day includes receiving and reviewing complaints and grievances, guiding citizens, and facilitating their transactions according to transparent and simplified standards that ensure easy access to services.
He explained that the open day falls within the framework of the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and the Government of Change and Construction to facilitate and ease services for citizens and alleviate their suffering.
Al-Sayani also emphasized that all complaints and grievances submitted by citizens are being addressed, and their procedures are being followed up by the relevant authorities and departments within the Ministry, leading to their resolution in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
He urged all Ministry leaders and cadres to feel responsible towards citizens and strive to serve them and achieve their satisfaction with the services provided by the Ministry.
The Ministry called on citizens to take advantage of the open day and engage positively by raising their complaints and comments in a way that serves the public interest, contributes to improving institutional performance, and enhances the level of services provided in the transportation and public works sectors.
