Checking the treatment of torrential damage and opening centers to support dairy producers and an agricultural nursery in Hodeidah

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Al-Nuaimi and Deputy Prime Minister- Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Muhammad Al-Madani, and a member of the Supreme Committee for Emergency Confederation and torrential damage- visited the field official of the joint operations room, Dr. Hussein Maqbalouli, today, maintenance work and treatment of damage left by torrents in the two districts of Beit Al -Faqih and Al -Drahami in Al -Hodeidah Governorate.
And they listened with them with the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Muhammad Qahim, the first deputy governorate, Ahmed Al -Bishri, and the Ministry of Administration and Local Development, Ammar Al -Harb, to an explanation from those in charge of road maintenance projects and construction work for the homes of the affected people and the infrastructure that was damaged as a result of the heavy rains and torrential torrents witnessed by the governorate.
A member of the Supreme Political Council explained that the visit comes in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council to see the affected conditions and the level of implementation of the necessary treatment work and procedures to facilitate the ways to return normal life to the affected areas.
He pointed out that the efforts made in the maintenance of the affected roads and partial collapses were examined in some of the main and branch roads that affected the movement of transport and caused the disruption of many services.
Al -Naimi and Al -Madani urged the emergency teams to enhance efforts and make the necessary treatments and measures to reduce the damage of torrents, noting the efforts made by various official authorities and the Hodeidah Governorate Support Fund, the bodies, institutions, funded units, associations and community initiatives in implementing relief and emergency work at the road level and building housing units for affected families And provide other relief means.
Al -Nuaimi and Al -Madani and their companions inspected the progress of work in reforming the damage caused by the torrents in the roads passing by the valleys, and reviewed the progress of the work in the housing unit that is being built to house 35 families in the Al -Lawy area of Al -Duraimi District funded by the Hodeidah Governorate Support Fund and the contribution of a number of official authorities And society.
The visitors praised the rapid response efforts of the concerned authorities, society, cooperative societies and development knights, stressing the importance of redoubling efforts in addressing damage and opening roads in a way that speeds up the return of normal life to the affected areas.
On the other hand, Al -Nuaimi and Al -Madani, and with them the Minister of Transport and the leadership of the province, opened two model collection centers to receive fresh milk from dairy producers through cooperative societies in Beit al -Faqih and Mansourie .
Al -Naimi and Al -Madani praised the efforts made in developing the value chain of dairy in the context of achieving the goal of self -sufficiency and enhancing food security, noting that the two projects are a qualitative leap in the path of improving the quality of the local product and expanding the provision of means of ensuring increased production.
They were accompanied by the President of the General Authority for the Development of Tuhama, Ali Hazza, the President of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Mubarak Al -Qaili, the Director of the Agricultural Services Corporation, Adnan Hashid and a number of leaders of the province, local authority and social figures.
To that, Deputy Prime Minister- Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Muhammad Al-Madani, the Minister of Transport and Public Works and the first agent of Hodeidah Governorate, opened a project to rehabilitate the Jumisha nursery in the Kilo 16 region with the support of the Fisheries and Fisheries Financing Unit in the governorate, and the implementation of the executive unit of projects and maintenance.
They listened to the director of the Project Finance Unit, Yahya Al -Wadii, to explain, about the work that was implemented to qualify the nursery at a cost of 35 million riyals, to grow appropriate seedlings in the framework of the trend to activate the agricultural front in the Tuhama Plain.
