Civil Aviation Institute Concludes Two Courses in Legislation and Continuous Monitoring

 

The Civil Aviation and Meteorology Institute in Sana’a concluded two courses, “Aviation Legislation” and “Continuous Monitoring Approaches,” organized by the institute with funding from the Skills Development Fund.

The two-week courses, attended by 30 trainees from the Civil Aviation Authority and its various departments, aimed to develop the capabilities of employees and enhance their skills in the areas of aviation legislation and airport procedures auditing.

The trainees received specialized knowledge in international and local legislation, in addition to skills in monitoring, evaluation, and gap analysis in civil aviation facilities.

At the closing ceremony, the Dean of the Civil Aviation Institute, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, emphasized the importance of developing capabilities and keeping pace with modern developments in the field of civil aviation. He noted that the institute offers its training programs according to modern curricula and methodologies that comply with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). He commended the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority leadership for their focus on training and their ongoing commitment to enhancing the technical and professional skills of their staff. He urged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired in the two courses to their practical work.

The closing ceremony included the distribution of certificates to the trainees.
