Customs will implement a final ban on the entry of US-origin products starting August 19.

The Customs Authority announced that, pursuant to the minutes of the meeting of the Central Committee for the Boycott of US and Israeli Products held on July 15, 2025, the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment directed that US products currently at customs ports be permitted to enter Yemen until August 18, 2025, on an exceptional and temporary basis.

The Authority explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this measure comes in preparation for the implementation of Prime Ministerial Resolution No. (10) of 1446 AH, which stipulates a final ban on the entry of US and Israeli goods, merchandise, and products after this date. These goods will be dealt with according to return procedures and will not be permitted entry.

The Authority called on all ports, outlets, and customs centers to fully comply with this directive and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure proper implementation of the boycott decision and adherence to it.
