Discussing the aspects related to the organization of shipping and maritime transport to the port of Hodeidah
The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Muhammad Qahim, and the economy, industry and investment, Eng. Moeen Al -Mahqari, met , representatives of the navigation companies operating in the port of Hodeidah.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport and Works, Yahya Al -Siyani, the aspects related to organizing the shipping and maritime transport process were discussed to the port of Hodeidah, in accordance with the standards and requirements for shipping and entering goods, and safety during the discharge.
At the meeting, the two ministers stressed the need for marine navigation companies to adhere to the requirements for the shipping process and operating ships, and not to allow any delay in goods shipments because of the damages and losses of the importers, and the effects of the safety and quality of goods and goods.
They pointed to the need to review the shipping prices and prevent the delay of ships loaded with goods, due to the problems that result.
Qahim and Al -Muhtari praised the steadfastness of navigation companies and their continuation of work over the past years, despite the exceptional and difficult circumstances that Yemen has gone through and is still due to aggression and siege.
They stressed the keenness of the leaders of the ministries of transport and works, economics, industry and investment, to cooperate and coordinate with navigation companies to address any problems or deficiencies in performance.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Works affirmed keenness to set determinants and controls to avoid any obstacles to work in the port.
While the representatives of the navigation companies valued the leadership of the two ministries’ keenness to overcome the difficulties facing workers in shipping and maritime transport to the port of Hodeidah.
