Discussing the Implementation Mechanism for the Concrete Paving Project on the Al-Udayn City-Al-Hazm Junction Road in Ibb
A meeting chaired by the Secretary-General of the Ibb Governorate Local Council, Amin Al-Warafi, today discussed aspects related to the implementation of concrete paving works on the road linking the Al-Udayn City Center and the Al-Udayn Hazm Junction, with a length of 1,600 meters and a width of seven meters.
The meeting, attended by the Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled, the Deputy Governors, Qasim Al-Masawi and Mohammed Al-Marisi, and the Chairman of the Technical Committee, Engineer Essam Al-Makhadri, agreed to implement the project at a cost of 200 million riyals, funded by the Governorate Local Council and the Road Maintenance Fund, with a contribution of 20,000 bags of cement from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit. The Executive Unit for Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance will implement the project in accordance with the specifications, technical and engineering studies, and the specified timeframe.
During the meeting, Al-Warafi emphasized the local authority leadership’s interest in implementing road projects, considering them a lifeline for development and alleviating citizens’ suffering.
He highlighted the importance of paving the Al-Udayn City-Al-Hazm Junction road section to facilitate the movement of citizens and goods, as it is part of the main road linking the governorates of Ibb and Al Hudaydah.
