Discussing Ways to Develop Work in the Public Works Sector in Sana’a Governorate

A meeting in Sana’a Governorate today, chaired by the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, discussed ways to develop work in the Public Works Sector and its branches in the districts.
The meeting, attended by Abdul Salam Al-Jaifi, a member of the Administrative Board and Chairman of the Planning and Finance Committee, and Mohammed Ayed, the Deputy Governor, addressed the reasons for the delay in submitting the 1446 AH report.
The attendees emphasized the importance of submitting periodic reports on time, accompanied by the necessary recommendations and solutions to overcome the challenges facing the work.
They also discussed the progress of the construction of border roads in various districts and the role of the Road Construction Department in implementing and supervising the construction work. The meeting addressed the role of the Public Works Sector and its branches in supervising the implementation of residential tower construction to avoid future construction damage.
They emphasized the need for everyone to cooperate with the technical committee to carry out its duties and limit unregulated construction.
The attendees emphasized the need to adhere to the legal opinion on technical licensing procedures in various branches to address shortcomings and irregularities, rectify workflows, eliminate all negatives, and improve the services provided by the Public Works Sector.
At the meeting, Undersecretary Muntaser stressed the need to redouble efforts and demonstrate a sense of responsibility to improve service and functional performance, facilitate citizen transactions, and reduce unregulated activities and violations.
For his part, the Governorate’s Public Works Sector Official, Engineer Mohammed Ashiya, indicated ongoing efforts to monitor and correct the performance of departments, working as a team to provide services and preserve public rights, and ensuring that problems are addressed.
He emphasized zero tolerance for negligent and manipulators.
