Discussion of Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Efforts in Al-Dhale’a

A meeting was held in Al-Dhale’a Governorate to discuss efforts to maintain and rehabilitate the governorate’s main roads, as part of improving infrastructure and facilitating the movement of citizens and goods.
The meeting, which included the head of the Roads Maintenance Fund, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, and the governorate’s deputy governor, Hussein Al-Madhaji, addressed intervention priorities based on available resources, aiming to preserve the road network.
The meeting, which was also attended by the directors of maintenance at the Roads Corporation, Engineer Abdulqader Badi, and supervision and quality at the Roads Maintenance Fund, Engineer Bashir Al-Sani’, as well as the corporation’s and fund’s representatives in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Najjar and Mohammed Al-Imad, respectively, approved the commencement of work on the Damt ring road, a 2.5-kilometer stretch costing 300 million riyals.
The attendees emphasized the importance of maintaining the Damt-Jubn road and the Damt-Al-Nadirah-Ibb road, and assigned an engineering team to assess the cost of maintaining the Al-Tahoun-Dhuran Al-Hasha’ road. During the meeting, Engineer Al-Haifi stressed the importance of carrying out road maintenance work and providing funding in cooperation with the local authority, in order to preserve the roads in the city of Damt and the roads connecting the districts.
