Eighth Travel Reservations and Ticketing Course Concludes at the Civil Aviation Institute in Sana’a

 

The eighth travel reservations and ticketing course concluded today at the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Institute in Sana’a. Fourteen trainees from travel and tourism agencies in the capital and several other governorates participated.

The two-week course, organized by the institute, aimed to familiarize participants with the mechanisms of using automated travel reservation systems, develop their skills in managing reservations and trips, and provide them with knowledge of the latest software used in the travel industry. This will contribute to improving the quality of services provided to customers.

At the conclusion of the course, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, Dean of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Institute, emphasized the importance of specialized training programs in reservation systems.

He noted their role in equipping participants with the necessary skills to use international systems, calculate prices, issue tickets, and manage reservation operations with high efficiency. He explained that the training covered internationally recognized systems in the travel and aviation sector, noting the institute’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest developments in this field.

Dr. Al-Sahmi urged the participants to apply the skills they acquired while performing their duties at their workplaces.
