Hodeidah- Dec 31, Dr. Wa'ed Abdullah Bathib, Minister of Transport met with the members of the Yemen Chamber of Shipping. During his visit to Hodeidah province today, they discussed the observations and proposals related to work development in Hodeidah and Aden Ports.   

Hodeidah- Dec 12, Under a chairmanship of Dr. Wa'ed Abdullah Bathib, Minister of Transport, a meeting was held in the presence of the facilities Directors-general in Hodeidah, and representatives of laborers of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation (YRSPC).   

Mukallah-Dec 29, Dr Wa'ed Abdullah Bathib, Minister of Transport instructed the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation's officials to impose a penalty for infringement of ships call Salif port with over-determined tonnages for quay's capacity.   

Aden- Dec 28, Dr. Wa'ed Abdullah Bathib, Minister of Transport inspected a number of facilities and affiliates of the Ministry in Aden.   

Aden-Dec 17, Under a chairmanship of Dr. Wa'ed Abdulllah Bathib, Minister of Transport, a meeting was held and attended by Cap. Mohammed Abu Bakr Ishaq, In charge of the Yemeni Gulf of Aden Ports corporation's executive chairman, Cap. Sami Saeed Fare', in charge of the YGAPC's vice executive chairman, and the corporation's directors-general.   

Sana'a- Dec 14, a meeting was chaired by Dr. Wa'ed Bathib, Minister of Transport where measures of upgrading the performance of transport ministry's sectors as well as the personnel's needs and problems were discussed. In this regard, the minister discussed with the employees the proposals related to developing the performance level in the coming period.   

Minister of Transport, Mr. Khalid Alwazir discussed on Sunday 7/3/2011, with representative of the General Secretary of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the final procedures to officially open the Regional Center for Coordinating and Exchanging Information to Combat Maritime Piracy and Armed Robbery. It is to be headquartered in Sana'a and taken place at the end of March 2011. This is to be happened in presence of the IMO's general secretary, a number of representatives of region's countries, Japan and the European countries.   

Russian Railways Company expressed its willingness to implement a railway project in Yemen on Monday 28/2/2011.    

Sana'a, - Minister of Transport, Mr. Khalid Alwazir met on Monday Feb. 28, with the Djiboutian ambassador to Yemen, Mr Sahal Ismail Nour.
