The Ministry of Transport today honored a number of employees in the training program in" the entrance to air transport "and the "English language courses "at the cabinet of the Ministry .
At the honoring , Minister of Transport, Zakaria Al-Shami stressed the importance of qualifying the cadres of the ministry in various scientific fields .. He pointed out that the ministry is preparing an intensive training program during the year 2018.
He pointed out that the ministry aims to establish revolutions to rehabilitate employees, which will enhance their abilities in various aspects in order to serve the public interest and enhance the capabilities and wealth that Yemen possesses. He expressed the hope that the participants will apply what they received in the training courses on the reality each in his field of work.
For his part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Air Transport Abdullah Al-Ansi stressed the Ministry's interest in qualifying the cadres. He praised the support of the ministry leadership and its interest in holding these courses for the ministry's staff, which will contribute positively to activating and developing the work and dealing with others with high professionalism.
The participants in the program, Khalid Abdul Qawi, explained that 25 participants in the English language courses received basic concepts and terminology for English grammar as well as general scientific concepts in the field of air transport within three months.
A two-week course on air transport aimed at providing 30 participants with knowledge on air navigation, aviation, safety and security, as well as their definition of international civil aviation agreements, most notably the Chicago Convention.
At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by Undersecretary for Maritime Affairs and Ports Khalid Al Nimr, Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Mohammed Abdul Qader and Head of Land Transport Regulatory Authority Walid Al Wadai, the certificates were handed to the participants.
