Entering the TEREX incubator No. (15) into service at the port of Hodeidah

Within the framework of the efforts exerted by the Corporation’s leadership to maintain operational readiness and enhance work at the container terminal, the engineers and technicians of the incubator hangar at the Container Handling Equipment Maintenance Department affiliated to the General Department of Technical Affairs completed the process of maintaining the TEREX incubator No. (15) and putting it into service.

Where the engineers and technicians carried out the process of maintaining the control system and the electrical system, as well as the mechanical maintenance represented by the maintenance of the engines and the hydraulic network … to reduce the pressure on the incubators operating in the field and to help complete the container handling work more and faster to raise the readiness in the container handling equipment.

The maintenance process for the two incubators was carried out with vigorous and continuous follow-up by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, and local cadres from the Corporation’s sons with experience and competence in carrying out maintenance work for all equipment and mechanisms of the Corporation’s ports to ensure their readiness and increase their life span.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors praised the efforts exerted by the engineering and technical teams of the Corporation’s cadres in completing all maintenance work, appreciating the efforts exerted in completing these works.

Ishaq stressed the commitment to the aspects of occupational safety for the technical, professional and engineering teams working in the field, since the human element is the capital of the institution.
For its part, the Technical Department appreciated the keenness of the Corporation’s leadership to follow up the implementation of periodic maintenance work for machinery and equipment and to provide its requirements to ensure non-stop and continuity of service and to enhance the operational capacity of the port of Hodeidah.
