Funeral held for Deputy Director of Al-Salif Port in Hodeidah

The funeral of Captain Abdullah Sharah, Deputy Director of Al-Salif Port, was held today in Hodeidah. He passed away following a traffic accident while on his way to work, after a life dedicated to serving his country in the maritime sector.
During the funeral, which was attended by Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi, Deputy Governors Mohammed Halisi and Ali Kabari, and the leadership and staff of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, mourners praised the deceased’s virtues, professional contributions, and his role in enhancing the safety of maritime operations and improving performance efficiency at Al-Salif Port.
The Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, commended the deceased’s career and his dedication, commitment, and professional discipline, emphasizing that Captain Abdullah Sharah was a national asset who contributed effectively to the development of maritime operations and port services despite the difficult challenges. He noted that the deceased was a model of qualified maritime personnel, distinguished by his high level of technical expertise and exemplary character, which earned him the respect and appreciation of his colleagues and employees in various port departments. He expressed his sincere condolences to the family and children of the deceased.
The deceased was laid to rest in Al-Siddiqiyah Cemetery in the city of Hodeidah, in the presence of official and public figures.
