Funeral of the martyrs of the US aggression on Ras Isa Port

The bodies of several martyrs of the US aggression massacre at Ras Isa Port were buried in Al Hudaydah Governorate today, Sunday, Shawwal 22, 1446 AH (April 20, 2025 AD), which claimed the lives of 80 port employees and truck drivers and wounded 150.

The funeral procession set off from Al-Rida Mosque in Al Hudaydah City, with widespread public participation and official attendance, led by the Governor of Al Hudaydah, Abdullah Atifi; the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bishri; the Deputy Governors; the Acting Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil Company, Mohammed Al-Lakomi; and the Vice Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nasr Al-Nusairi.
The funeral was also attended by Adnan Al-Jarmouzi, the director of the oil company’s branch in the governorate, military and security leaders, office and directorate managers, port and oil company employees, labor and civilian sectors, and crowds of the governorate’s residents. Prayers were performed over the bodies of the martyrs, and some were laid to rest in the Martyrs’ Cemetery, while others were laid to rest in their hometowns.

The mourners emphasized that the US aggression’s targeting of a civilian service facility the size of Ras Isa Port is a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian conventions and norms. They held the US administration fully responsible for this massacre.

They emphasized that the blood of the martyrs will not be shed in vain, but will yield victory over the forces of arrogance. They affirmed that the Yemeni people will not hesitate to continue their steadfastness, perseverance, and jihad until complete victory is achieved.

The mourners renewed their mandate to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to make the appropriate decisions and options to respond to this crime, expand military operations against the forces of aggression, and target American and Israeli interests in the Red Sea and elsewhere.
Before the funeral, an angry protest was held on Mina Street, with the participation of Governor Ateifi, Deputy Minister Al-Bishri, his deputies, and the leadership of the Oil and Ports Company. Participants declared a general mobilization and readiness to wage the battle of “the promised conquest and holy jihad,” standing united behind the revolutionary and political leadership.

They chanted slogans and chants denouncing the American aggression, emphasizing that this crime represents a declaration of war against the Yemeni people and exposes America’s criminal project against free peoples.

A statement issued by the protest condemned this heinous crime that targeted a civilian facility, stressing that every drop of blood shed at Ras Isa Port will be met with more qualitative operations against the American enemy and deep within the Zionist entity, and that the Yemeni people will not back down from the battle, no matter the sacrifices.

The statement noted that this massacre exposed the extent of the enemy’s moral and political bankruptcy and constitutes a dangerous escalation against civilian facilities and the necessities of life, emphasizing that continued international silence constitutes direct complicity and participation in the crime.
The statement declared its disavowal of all mercenaries and traitors who sought to justify the aggression’s crimes against the Yemeni people, calling on the people to mobilize broadly on all fronts—in the field, in the media, and politically—and to reject any form of guardianship or subordination.

The statement called on all free people at home and abroad to stand united in the battle for justice against the forces of falsehood and American and Israeli arrogance, and to rally behind the wise leadership.

The statement affirmed that this crime will strengthen the unity of the internal front and the cohesion of the Yemeni people to confront any future escalation and expand the scope of legitimate responses against hostile targets on land, sea, and air.

The statement reaffirmed the firm position in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and the commitment to continuing the nation’s battle against the American-Zionist project.

The participants in the vigil and funeral expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the martyrs, asking God Almighty to accept them among the martyrs and the righteous.
