Governor of Al Bayda Inspects Thirtieth Street-Azza-Mukayras Road Project

 

Governor of Al Bayda, Abdullah Idris, today inspected the progress of work on the project to pave and fill the Thirtieth Street-Azza, passing through the Ring Road and reaching the Mukayras line. The project, which costs 89 million riyals, is funded by the local authority.

Governor Idris, along with Shura Council member Abdullah Al-Mudhafari, listened to an explanation from the Executive Unit for Road Construction and Maintenance, Engineer Faisal Al-Sudani, about the progress of the work on paving and surveying the Thirtieth Street Ring Road, which begins from Azza and continues through Daghila and Aslam, reaching the Mukayras Road. The project is six kilometers long and has achieved an 80 percent completion rate.

Governor Idris urged the acceleration of work and the completion of the project in accordance with the specified engineering terms and specifications, which will contribute to facilitating traffic flow and alleviating congestion.

He pointed out that road projects are a priority within the governorate’s plans and programs aimed at driving development and providing services to citizens. The governor emphasized the local authority’s commitment to improving services and alleviating citizens’ suffering, noting the importance of road projects in reducing congestion on city streets.
