Governor of Al-Bayda Inspects Work on the Western Ring Road Project in Al-Bayda City

 

Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, inspected today the progress of work on the Western Ring Road project in Al-Bayda City. The project, costing 300 million riyals, is jointly funded by the local authority and the Road Maintenance Fund.

The governor listened to a briefing from the project consultant on the progress of the first phase of the Western Ring Road expansion and maintenance, including paving and asphalting the median strips. This phase aims to improve the road network within the city and facilitate traffic flow.

Governor Idris explained that contracts have been signed for road and bridge projects in various districts of the governorate, totaling two billion riyals, jointly funded by the local authority and the Road Maintenance Fund. The implementation of these projects is being monitored on the ground.

He urged an acceleration of the work pace and the completion of the project according to the specified engineering standards and specifications. This will contribute to easing traffic flow and reducing congestion. He noted that road projects are a priority within the governorate’s plans and programs aimed at driving development and providing services to citizens. He emphasized the local authority’s commitment to improving services and alleviating the suffering of citizens.
