Groundbreaking for the Stone Paving Project in Al Bayda City

 Al Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris inaugurated the stone paving project in Al Bayda City, costing 47 million riyals and funded by the local authority.

The governor, along with Shura Council member Abdullah Al Muzaffari, listened to an explanation from the Public Works Sector Official, Engineer Khaled Al Qafi, about the paving work, which will be carried out over an area of 2,500 square meters, extending from in front of the Education Office on Kuwait Street to Al Aman Street and Al Hayat Hospital. He explained that the project includes stone paving and the construction of channels to drain floodwater, which will help reduce congestion and traffic accidents and improve the overall appearance of the city.

During the inauguration, Governor Idris emphasized the local authority’s commitment to improving public services for citizens and alleviating their suffering. He pointed out that the stone paving and rehabilitation of main and side streets are part of a package of development projects being implemented as part of the governorate’s plan, urging that the project be completed according to engineering specifications and within the specified timeframe. The inauguration was attended by Engineer Faisal Al-Sudani, Head of the Projects Executive Unit, and other executive leaders.
