Head of Roads Authority Inspects Progress on Sa’dah-Dammaj-Al Salem Road Project

The Head of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, inspected the progress of the Sa’dah-Dammaj-Al Salem road project, which the Authority is implementing at a cost of three billion riyals, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund.
During the visit, the Head of the Authority received a briefing from the project manager and engineers on the progress of the second phase of the project, which extends to kilometer 10, with a completion rate of approximately 50 percent.
Al-Hadrami explained that the 20-kilometer project is being implemented in several phases, with each phase costing 250 million riyals.
He stated that the Authority has completed the first phase of the project, which spans five kilometers, noting that the completed work in the first phase included earthworks, construction, and paving. Engineer Al-Hadrami emphasized the importance of redoubling efforts and maintaining the same pace in implementing the remaining phases of the project, which represents a vital artery connecting numerous regions and contributing to strengthening the road infrastructure and facilitating the movement of citizens.
He was accompanied during the visit by the Foundation’s Projects Director, Engineer Sadiq Al-Jarbaani, and the Bridges and Construction Director, Engineer Adnan Ibrahim.
