Hodeidah Traffic Department Launches Two Transportation Lines Within the City

 the Hodeidah Governorate Traffic Department launched two transportation lines within the city as part of efforts to improve transportation services and ease the burden on citizens and students.

The Governorate’s Traffic Director, Colonel Mohammed Al-Nuwaira, explained that this step will contribute to connecting residential neighborhoods to service facilities and markets, reducing the time and effort for students and citizens, as well as creating new job opportunities and providing affordable transportation services.

He pointed out that the first route starts from July 7th – University (Aisha School), passing through Gaza (New Street), Al-Janbiya Market, Al-Arbaeen, Al-Sa’a Roundabout, Shamsan, Al-Mu’addal, Al-Raziqi, Al-Dahwi Roundabout, and Al-Thawra, arriving at the university. The second route starts from Al-Zahour neighborhood – University (Al-Zahour School), passing through Al-Laqia School, September 21st Hospital, Musab School, 24th Street, Yeshivin Center, Al-Hofrah Roundabout, Panorama Hall, Al-Sunna Mosque, Al-Rahbi, and then Jamal Street and Al-Thawra, arriving at the university.

For his part, Colonel Ibad Faraj, Head of the Routes and Sorting Department, emphasized the need for bus drivers to adhere to the designated routes and treat passengers with respect.

The Governorate’s Traffic Department confirmed that it would take action against any attempt to obstruct this service, emphasizing that the project’s primary goal is to serve the community and alleviate its suffering.
