Ibb… Public Works Office Organizes Commemoration Event for Martyrs

The Public Works Office in Ibb Governorate organized a commemoration event today to mark the anniversary of martyrdom, under the slogan “Martyrdom: Sacrifice and Loyalty.”
During the event, which was attended by Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Shabibi, the governorate’s mobilization officer, Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, emphasized the importance of honoring the martyrs’ sacrifices and the heroic deeds they performed in defense of the homeland.
He stressed the necessity of commemorating this anniversary in a manner befitting the magnitude of the martyrs’ sacrifices and of caring for and supporting their families.
For his part, Deputy Governor Abdul-Wahid Al-Marwa’i indicated that everyone must honor the sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives in defense of their people and nation.
He affirmed that Yemen’s honorable stance—leadership, army, and people—towards Palestine is a direct result of the sacrifices of these great martyrs. He called for commemorating this anniversary by supporting the families of the martyrs and organizing events, exhibitions, and activities that honor their heroic deeds.
For his part, the Director of the Public Works Office in the governorate, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Shami, emphasized that the sacrifices of the Yemeni people, most recently those of the martyr Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ghamari, have thwarted the enemies’ plans.
He pointed out that commemorating the martyr’s anniversary is a revival of the culture of martyrdom, a testament to the martyrs’ sacrifices, and a reaffirmation of the commitment to follow in their footsteps. He stressed that the victories achieved by the Yemeni people are thanks to the wisdom of the leadership and the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs.
The event included a moving poem by the poet Jamil Al-Kamil.
