Ibb Public Works Office Organizes Commemoration Event for the Martyr of the Quran

The Public Works Office in Ibb Governorate organized a commemoration event today, marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Martyr of the Quran.

At the event, Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, the governorate’s Public Mobilization Officer, stated that commemorating the anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran underscores the importance of a sincere return to the Holy Quran as a comprehensive way of life and methodology for confronting the challenges facing the nation. He explained that the martyred leader, through his Quranic project, exposed the falsehood of hegemonic and arrogant projects.

He further explained that this project contributed to strengthening the nation’s identity and its responsibility towards its crucial issues, foremost among them confronting tyranny and injustice. He emphasized that this anniversary represents an opportunity to strengthen the connection with the Quran and to implement its teachings in all aspects of life. Ghallab called for drawing lessons from the martyr of the Quran in patience, steadfastness, and sacrifice, and for working to fortify society culturally and intellectually, thus contributing to building a conscious generation capable of continuing the path of honor and dignity.

For his part, the Director of the Public Works Office in the governorate, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Shami, affirmed that commemorating this anniversary reflects loyalty to the founder of the Quranic project, noting that the martyr of the Quran represented a comprehensive school of thought that contributed to correcting misconceptions and exposing the enemies’ schemes.

He explained that the responsibility today rests on everyone to draw inspiration from the values carried by the martyred leader and to work to embody them in the fields of work and public service, thereby strengthening the cohesion of the home front and serving the nation.

Engineer Al-Shami emphasized that following the path of the martyr of the Quran is the true guarantee for confronting current challenges, indicating that commemorating this anniversary contributes to enhancing societal awareness and enshrining the culture of the Quran as a way of life.

The event included a poem by the poet Jamil Al-Kamel and cultural segments expressing the significance of the occasion.
