Inauguration of the Second Phase of the Dhahban Entrance Restoration and Maintenance Project in the Capital Municipality

The Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, today inaugurated the second phase of the asphalt maintenance and restoration project at the Dhahban Entrance in Bani Al-Harith District.

The project, valued at 70 million riyals and funded by the local authority, is being implemented by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges under the supervision of the Municipality’s Public Works and Projects Sector.

The second phase of the project includes maintenance and asphalt restoration work on dilapidated sections 400 meters long and 12 meters wide.

The Mayor of the Capital Municipality urged intensified efforts and increased work pace to complete the work according to the required technical standards and quality, which will contribute to facilitating traffic flow.

The inauguration was attended by the Municipality’s Undersecretaries for the Public Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi and Ali Al-Lahji, and a number of engineers.
