Inspection of Rehabilitation Work on the Al-Bahrain-Balad Shar Road in Ibb Governorate
Ibb Deputy Governor Qasim Al-Masawi inspected the progress of rehabilitation work on the Al-Bahrain-Balad Shar road in the Ibb Governorate today.
The rehabilitation work includes the construction of two terraced retaining walls in the Mashoura area. The first wall is 18 meters long and 2 meters high, and the second is 30 meters long and 2 meters high. The project is being implemented by the local branch of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges Maintenance.
Deputy Governor Al-Masawi emphasized that the project is being carried out in accordance with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and the local authority in the governorate, with the aim of protecting the lives of road users from the dangers of frequent rockslides.
He highlighted the importance of the road, which is a vital artery for the residents of Al-Bahrain and the surrounding villages, as it is the only road connecting their areas to the governorate’s capital.
He commended the efforts of the local branch of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges Maintenance in implementing the project as part of a package of projects being carried out in the governorate.
