Inspection of the Asphalt Completion Project for Thirtieth Street in Hamdan, Sana’a Governorate

Sana’a Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntaser, today inspected the progress of the completion of the asphalt works on the Thirtieth Street project, Shamlan Ring Road, in Hamdan District, as part of the first phase.
Deputy Al-Muntaser listened to an explanation from the governorate’s Public Works Official, Engineer Mohammed Ashiyah, about the progress of the project, which is being implemented by the Executive Unit with funding from the local authority and the supervision of the governorate’s Public Works Office.
Engineer Ashiyah explained that work is proceeding according to the technical standards and specifications, and the timeframe specified for the project implementation, as approved in the tender document.
For his part, the Acting Director of the Executive Unit, Engineer Mohammed Makram, indicated that the project completion works included laying an asphalt layer 400 meters long and nine meters wide, covering a total area of 3,200 square meters, with a quantity of 400 tons of asphalt.
Al-Muntasir affirmed the local authority leadership’s commitment to implementing service projects that contribute to improving the aesthetic appearance. He emphasized the need to improve the implementation of road projects, which will help preserve transportation and reduce traffic congestion.
He was accompanied during the visit by the directors of the directorate, Fahd Attia; the project manager, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Murtada; the technical affairs manager, Engineer Muqbil Mani’; and the financial manager, Bakil Al-Adeeb.
