Inspection of the progress of work on the road opening in the village of Anbar in the Jabal Al Mahwit District

 

The representative of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit in Al Mahwit Governorate, Engineer Mukhtar Al Turki, and the Director of the Jabal Al Mahwit District, Khammash Habish, inspected today the work on the road opening in the village of Anbar in the Jabal Al Taraf sub-district, which was damaged by rockslides resulting from rain.

Al Turki explained that the unit provided a compactor and a quantity of diesel to support efforts to remove the rocks and open the road to traffic. He emphasized the importance of concerted community efforts to address the urgent damage to the roads, praising the cooperation of the residents and their contribution to the road opening efforts.

He indicated that the equipment of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges and the Executive Unit had been supplied with diesel to continue work on the road opening in Al Mahwit – Al Qanawis – Al Hudaydah, which was cut off due to a rockslide.

The director of the directorate confirmed that work is continuing to remove all landslides and facilitate citizens’ movement, noting that these efforts are part of the emergency response to address the damage caused by the floods.
