Land Authority, Land Transport Regulatory Authority, and Ibb Electricity Corporation Branch Hold Event Commemorating Martyrs

 

The Land Authority, the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, and the Ibb branch of the General Electricity Corporation organized a commemorative event today to mark the anniversary of the martyrs for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan “Martyrdom: Sacrifice and Loyalty.”

At the event, which was attended by Shura Council member Tariq al-Mufti, the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Abdulwahid al-Marwa’i, emphasized the importance of commemorating the anniversary to recall the lives of the martyrs and to strengthen resilience and readiness to confront the conspiracies hatched by the forces of aggression against the nation.

He stressed the necessity of commemorating the anniversary in a manner befitting the magnitude of the martyrs’ sacrifices and of caring for and supporting their families. For his part, the governorate’s mobilization officer, Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, considered the annual commemoration of the martyrs an important educational occasion to remember their heroic deeds and sacrifices, to draw lessons of pride and dignity from their example, and to follow in their footsteps in confronting the enemies of the nation.

He touched upon the high status that martyrs hold with God Almighty, as well as the profound impact their sacrifices have on hearts and minds, which should be firmly established in the conscience and consciousness of future generations.

Meanwhile, the director of the Land Authority branch, Engineer Zayed Badir, considered the commemoration of the martyrs an important opportunity to draw lessons from the lives, courage, and virtues of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland, protecting it from all external conspiracies, and supporting the oppressed in Gaza.

He reviewed the stance of the martyred leader, Lieutenant General Abdul-Karim Al-Ghamari, and the other great martyrs who contributed to achieving victories, freedom, pride, and dignity for Yemen and Palestine. For his part, the Director of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Numan al-Darwani, spoke about the status of the martyrs, their sacrifices, and the responsibility incumbent upon everyone towards those who watered the land with their pure blood in defense of religion, homeland, and its security and stability.

He affirmed that the martyrs’ sacrifices will remain immortal in the memory of generations.

The event, which was attended by the directors of the Ibb branch of the Electricity Corporation, Engineer Ali al-Mawshaki, the head of the governorate’s Culture Sector, Abdul-Hakim Muqbil, department directors, section heads, and staff from the organizing bodies, included a speech by the head of the Guidance Sector, Mamoun Fayrouz, who emphasized that the commemoration is an opportunity to remember the martyrs’ heroism and immortal achievements, and to strengthen the spirit of faith and jihad. A poem was also recited by the poet Abdul-Rahman al-Yafarsi.
