Land Transport Authority, Maritime Affairs Authority and Red Sea Ports Corporation honor Dr. Abu Lahum

The Land Transport Authority, the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and the Maritime Affairs Authority honored the former Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahum, in appreciation of his role in serving the transportation sectors.
At the honoring ceremony organized by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Minister of Transport and Public Works Muhammad Qahim indicated that this honor is in appreciation of Dr. Abu Lahum’s efforts in enhancing cooperation between the Ministries of Finance and Transport during the past period.
He pointed out that Dr. Abu Lahum played a pivotal role in overcoming the difficulties facing land and sea transport infrastructure projects, which contributed to achieving tangible achievements on the ground.
The former Minister of Finance expressed his gratitude for this honor, pointing out the importance of enhancing cooperation between different sectors to achieve sustainable development.
He said: “We have been keen during the past period to support all projects, especially those related to the transport sector and ports, which are a vital artery for the national economy and provide humanitarian services to the Yemeni people.”
For his part, the Chairman of the Land Transport Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, noted the role of Dr. Abu Lahum in supporting efforts to develop the land transport infrastructure.
