The meeting addressed the governorate’s needs for main and secondary road projects within the Ministry of Transport and Public Works’ plan for the current year and the coming years, in addition to the restoration and maintenance of numerous main and secondary roads and streets in the governorate and its districts.

The agreement, which was signed at a cost of OMR 600 million, includes OMR 100 million from the local authority and OMR 500 million from the Road Maintenance Fund.
