Minister of Transport and Public Works and Governor of Saada inspect a number of road projects in the governorate
Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim and Governor of Saada Mohammed Jaber reviewed the progress of work on a number of road projects in the governorate.
Minister Qahim and Governor Awad, along with the head of the General Roads Corporation, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, and the governorate’s undersecretaries Mohammed Baydan and Saleh Fadhel, reviewed the progress of work on the Haidan – Jumaa bin Fadhel – Al-Raqqa road asphalt project and the surrounding areas.
They listened to the engineers supervising the project explaining the level of implementation of the road and the obstacles facing the work on it.
During their meeting with the residents of the Jumaa area and the surrounding areas and Ould Nawar in Haidan District, they stressed the need for cooperation in resolving the problems that hinder the implementation of the project.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works and Governor of Saada explained that the project, which is being implemented in stages, will serve the people of the areas it reaches or passes through.
In addition, Qahim, Awad and Al-Hadrami inspected the project to pave the Dhuib road in Haidan District, and also reviewed the progress of work on the Nakhal Dam in Saqayn District.
In the same context, the Minister, the Governor and the Chairman of the Corporation were briefed on the stages of implementing the Saada-Al Salem Road Project, with a length of 40 km.
During the visit, they stressed the importance of preparing a study and a plan for implementing the project that passes through the areas of Al-Abdin, Damaj, Sahwa, Wadi’ah, and Al-Sahlain, reaching the Al-Hajar area in Al Salem District.
The people and dignitaries of Al Salem District praised the interest of the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the Governorate in implementing the project and starting to pave and open the Al Salem Road to the governorate center.
They were accompanied by the Director of the Public Works Office in the Governorate, Ahsan Al-Qahm, the directors of the Haidan and Al Salem districts, and a number of engineers and dignitaries.
