Minister of Transport and Public Works Congratulates Leader of the Revolution and President of the Supreme Political Council on the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, sent a congratulatory cable to Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammed al-Mashat, and all the steadfast Yemeni people, on the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.
On behalf of all employees of the Ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions, Minister Qahim expressed his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, the Government of Change and Construction, and the members of the armed and security forces stationed in the fields of honor and dignity, on this glorious national occasion.
He described Yemeni unity as a historic turning point in the path of national struggle to elevate Yemen’s status, strengthen its independence and sovereignty, and build its modern state.
He pointed out that this occasion comes this year amid a failed Israeli aggression targeting civilian facilities and objects, as well as the lives of innocent Yemeni children, women, and the elderly, in addition to a siege that has been in place for more than ten years by the Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition to undermine the nation’s unity and independent decision-making. Qahim stated that “Yemeni unity will remain a solid popular choice that cannot be compromised, thanks to the awareness and vigilance of the Yemeni people in the face of plots aimed at tearing the nation apart and plundering its resources.”
He pointed out that the transportation and public works sector continues to perform its national and service duties with high operational readiness despite the challenges it faces as a result of the Israeli aggression, which has targeted vital facilities and installations that provide humanitarian services to citizens in various governorates.
He asked God Almighty to grant Yemen and its people victory and dignity, and to grant a swift victory to the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza.
He affirmed the continued steadfastness of the position of the Republic of Yemen—its leadership, government, and people—in supporting the Palestinian cause and backing the resistance until the liberation of all occupied territories and the defeat of the vanishing Zionist enemy, no matter how arrogant, haughty, and tyrannical it may be.
