Minister of Transport and Public Works Congratulates Leader of the Revolution and Supreme Political Council on Eid al-Adha

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayash Quhaim, sent a congratulatory cable to Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, His Excellency the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, and all the proud people of Yemen, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1446 AH.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, on his own behalf and on behalf of all employees of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated bodies and institutions, expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, and the Arab and Islamic nations on this precious religious occasion.

He emphasized that Eid al-Adha this year comes amid the Yemeni people’s legendary steadfastness in the face of Israeli aggression and a siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition for more than ten years. He said: “Yemen, its leadership, government, and people, are committed to their steadfast and honorable positions in support of the nation’s causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. He pointed out that Yemen, with its wise revolutionary and political leadership and its free people, sets the most wonderful examples of practical solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, which is facing a barbaric Israeli aggression amid shameful Arab, Islamic, and international silence.”

Minister Qahim pointed out that the strategic and qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist enemy entity in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and territorial waters came within the context of a natural response to the crimes committed against women and children in Gaza, and as an extension of the religious and humanitarian duty that Sana’a has shouldered since the first moment of the aggression.

He explained that the air and sea blockade imposed by the Republic of Yemen on the enemy entity will remain in place and will intensify until the unjust blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip is lifted, humanitarian aid, including food and medicine, is fully and unconditionally allowed in, and the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people is halted.

The minister said: “The Ministry of Transport and Public Works, with its various cadres and institutions, is closely monitoring developments on the ground and is working with all its might to secure maritime and air navigation within the national framework, while continuing to take the necessary measures to protect national sovereignty and prevent any violation that serves the Zionist enemy and its agents in the region.”

He also praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, their support for the revolutionary and political leadership, and their rallying behind the options of dignity and victory, renewing the pledge to continue serving the Yemeni people and standing by the just causes of the nation.

He asked God Almighty to bring this blessed occasion back to Yemen and the Arab and Islamic nation with victories achieved, land and holy sites liberated, and the Zionist entity eliminated.
