Minister of Transport and Public Works congratulates the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council on the 57th Independence Day

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammed al-Mashat, the members of the Council and the Yemeni people, on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the glorious national independence, November 30.
Minister Qahim stressed that this historic occasion represents a turning point in the path of national struggle, in which the spirit of sacrifice and redemption is embodied to expel the British colonizer from the south of the country, and to consolidate the meanings of freedom and sovereignty.
He pointed out that celebrating this day enhances the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of challenges and aggression, and confirms their adherence to their national constants and their legitimate right to independence and building a sovereign state.
Minister Qahim added that the major challenges facing the country today require drawing lessons from the heroism of our ancestors in confronting the colonizers, and strengthening the unity of the national ranks to thwart the plans of aggression and the forces of hegemony.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works renewed the pledge to work with all sincerity to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people, and to devote efforts to rebuilding the country and its institutions, under the wise leadership of the leader of the revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council.
