Minister of Transport and Public Works & Governor of Al-Jawf discuss the governorate’s needs for road projects

Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim discussed with Al-Jawf Governor Faisal Haider the priority road projects needed by the governorate.

The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, and his deputy, Eng. Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi, addressed the conditions of roads in Al-Jawf Governorate and the maintenance and expansion work required.

The progress of work on the Arhab-Al-Jawf Road Project, the difficulties facing the work and the means to overcome them were also reviewed.

In the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works stressed the keenness to meet the needs of Al-Jawf Governorate for road projects, considering that it is one of the governorates that have been deprived of projects throughout the past periods.

He pointed out the importance of continuing work to complete the Arhab-Al-Jawf project, which is the main road linking Al-Jawf Governorate and the capital, Sana’a, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens and facilitating their movement.
