Minister of Transport and Public Works inspects asphalt restoration works in al-Sabeen Square

Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Quhaim on Wednesday inspected the progress of restoration works carried out by the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges in al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana’a.

Minister Quhaim listened to an explanation from the supervising engineers about the maintenance works carried out, which include repairing the cracks appearing in the asphalt surface of Al-Sabeen Square in preparation for laying an additional asphalt layer.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works praised the efforts made to maintain al-Sabeen Square for its importance in hosting public and popular events that express the will and aspirations of the Yemeni people.

He stressed the importance of the works carried out to preserve al-Sabeen Square and highlight its aesthetic appearance, urging to double efforts to complete the works as soon as possible and according to the required specifications and quality
