Minister of Transport and Public Works Inspects Level of Job Discipline at the Land Transport Authority

 

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, today inspected the workflow and level of job discipline at the Land Transport Authority, on the second day of work following the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Minister Qahim listened to an explanation from the Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyad, regarding the level of discipline and the implementation of development plans and programs aimed at improving services provided to citizens and facilitating procedures related to regulating the land transport sector.

A meeting chaired by Minister Qahim, which included the Chairman of the Authority and a number of general managers, discussed future activities and plans included in the Authority’s strategy to improve land transport services and expand its scope to meet citizens’ aspirations.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works praised the level of job discipline at the Authority, stressing the importance of redoubling efforts and working as a team to ensure the expedited completion of transactions and the development of the land transport infrastructure. He stressed the need to simplify procedures and improve the quality of services provided to citizens in this vital area.
