Minister of Transport and Public Works inspects the status of the local land transport institution

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, reviewed today the status of the local land transport institution in the capital, Sana’a.

Qahim inspected the difficulties and challenges facing the institution in light of the current circumstances and the technical, professional and financial reasons that led to the cessation of its activity in the field of land transport.

Following the visit, Minister Qahim held a meeting with the director of the institution, Mohammed Al-Asri and specialists in the institution, where Al-Asri provided a detailed explanation of the most prominent obstacles and challenges that hinder the activation of the institution’s performance and limit its technical ability to keep pace with developments in the land transport sector.

Al-Asri also reviewed the effective solutions and proposals necessary to reactivate the institution and modernize its infrastructure in line with modern developments in this vital sector.
