Minister of Transport and Public Works Reviews Performance and Discipline in Public Works and Roads Sectors

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, today inspected the progress of work and performance in the Ministry’s Public Works and Roads sectors, as well as the level of job discipline following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
The Minister toured the various departments and divisions within the two sectors and heard from undersecretaries and general managers about the level of implementation of tasks and work, particularly those related to service provision, as well as the necessary requirements for developing work.
During an expanded meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works discussed with leaders and cadres of the Public Works and Roads sectors aspects related to the implementation of tasks and improving performance in line with the directives of the leadership and the program of the Government of Change and Construction.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of all Ministry leaders and cadres being mindful of their responsibilities in performing their duties and commitments, and in adhering to their work schedules and presence at work. He directed that the necessary requirements and needs be met.
He urged redoubled efforts to accomplish all tasks required by the Ministry, highlighting the important service role of the Public Works and Roads sectors, given their direct connection to citizens.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works highlighted the importance of working as a single team and the continued focus on developing performance and improving the work environment. He emphasized the Ministry’s leadership’s commitment to addressing any challenges that may arise, ensuring the continuous advancement of institutional work across all sectors of the Ministry.
Meanwhile, leaders and officials from the Public Works and Roads sectors reviewed the efforts made to accomplish the various tasks and duties assigned to them, appreciating the Ministry’s leadership’s keenness and interest in providing the necessary requirements to enhance performance.
