Minister of Transport and Works reviews the work progress of the information center

Minister of Transport and Public Works Muhammad Qahim reviewed the progress of work at the Land, Sea and Air Information Centre.

Qahim listened to an explanation from those in charge of the center about the activities, services, information, and accurate data about land, sea, and air traffic, weather conditions, and other information of importance in various fields of transportation.

Minister of Transport praised the level of work at the center and the data and information it contains of interest to the transport sector, stressing that during the next phase the focus will be on training, qualifying and developing the capabilities of transport sector cadres in the technical and professional aspects, developing the center and providing it with the necessary and essential needs.

He pointed out that the information center’s services contribute to protecting the nation and preserving territorial waters.

He was accompanied during the visit by the Chairman of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, the Acting Director of Yemen Airways, Khalil Jahaf, and a number of general directors of the Ministry.
